Call of Duty: Mobile is a free first-person shooting game for Android and iOS produced by Activision. On October 1, 2019, the game was made available.
Call of Duty: Mobile was revealed in March 2019, with TiMi Labs, a Tencent Games affiliate, directing development instead of Activision’s western development studios. This announcement disclosed several gaming aspects. The goal of the game was to take known elements from earlier games in the brand and make them available to consumers on their mobile devices. It comes with two in-game currencies as well as a Battle Pass.
Call of Duty: Mobile includes many of the series’ past playable characters, maps, and game types. Several control settings have been introduced to accommodate the player’s preferences. The game received a “zombies” game mode in November 2019. This game mode is based on the famous Call of Duty zombies “survival” model, in which the player battles unending waves of zombies in order to survive as long as possible. There was also a “Raid” mode in which the player had to beat a set number of zombie waves before facing one of the two monsters. Because the game mode did not meet Activison’s requirements, the Call of Duty: Mobile Zombies feature was discontinued on March 25, 2020. However, Activison stated that it may be reinstated in a future version. Following a beta test in select locations in July 2019, the game was launched globally on October 1, 2019. Because EA does not wish to comply with Belgian legislation surrounding loot boxes, the game is not accessible in Belgium.
